Re: Employee of the Month.

'Lazy' is your impression and whilst that may be fair assessment maybe she is completely demoralised and views role in a similar way to yourself and or has other difficulties outside of work? Assuming you have concluded that threatening to resign or just quitting is unlikely to result in any positiv...

Re: Dyspraxia and Counter Empathy

EDITED. It is reminding me of experiences with several UK medical NHS practitioners, including at consultant level who lacked compassion or empathy. I realised, I probably had DCD/Dyspraxia interchangeably, when I was 50 in 1999 and had it confirmed by a non medically trained chartered psychologist...

Re: Fingers

Suspect it is in reference to a Psychiatrist

From Googling " Pdoc is a compressed phrase combining psychiatrist/psychologist and doctor."

Re: Employee of the Month.

Sounds like she is more 'sick of the job' than yourself. Have you asked management what can be done to alleviate pressure on yourself or are you just expected to get on with cleaning duties with no specific direction or thank you for the additional effort you're clearly having to put in?

Re: Will Britain be able to make a sucess of Brexit?

While I thought we should have remained, our voice on the international stage still counts.

However, are certain politicians too isolationist in their foreign policy ideas?

Re: Panel Interviews

There is no legal requirement to declare. But of course you can get into the politics of is Dyspraxia a disability (yes it certainly is/can be; it meets criteria of being long term and can and often does have an impact on being able to perform normal day to day activities. An employer should not dis...

Re: About myself

Hi Ryan and welcome Agree it's a a puzzle to explain to people and we're all affected and cope to varying degrees. I sometimes like to characterise my dyspraxia as a pesky mischievious little goblin. Most of the time I manage to defy and outwit him with good humour,. Other times the little blighter ...

Re: Lexxic

Hi again I do agree those are legitimate concerns as I too like (or even expect) things to be thorough to the nth degree. No reason why you can't have a check list of things/examples you want to tell the assessor about re typical bad days and what typically causes things to breakdown and how often. ...

Re: Exhausted from work

Hi Carl and welcome

Should have responded sooner.

I often wonder/6 feels it's down to having to put in more physical and often mental effort too.

Telling your GP may be appropriate but will leave you to decide if that is appropriate.

Re: Welcome!

Worth asking who Dyslexia Assessing Org is as most should be able to say well you have very few indicators for Dyslexia but we think you have Dyspraxia. Ask who they will use and whether they can assess give help/advice and assess for other Neurodivergent conditions.
