Dyspraxia and Verbal Intelligence.

Hello everyone, I am just wondering whether you think there may be a correlation between Dyspraxia - or any related disorders - and verbal intelligence. Intelligence can, and is, accurately categorised using two conceptualisations of IQ: verbal IQ and performance IQ. People who score strongly on ...

Meeting People

I'm starting a new course soon, and I've just been informed that I'll be getting to know my classmates in the college canteen, a day before the course starts. I'm pretty nervous about this, as I'm quite shy, and I just wondered if anyone has any tips for it. The fact that there's a high probability ...

I am quite sure, yes. Dyspraxia has been known to correlate with a high verbal IQ, but sometimes other factors - such as the discrepancy between thinking and actualizing - tend to mask such talents from the world. Writing is definitely my (only) talent, and one of the moderators on Dyspraxic Teens ...

I consider the complexities of a situation far too radically for my own good, and more often than not add a negative twist to the situation.

I have heard it stated that quite a few great authors were dyspraxic, including Jack Kerouac; Emily Bronte; Ernest Hemingway, and George Orwell.

I also know for a fact that the renowned photographer, David Bailey, is dyspraxic.

I am dissappointed to have missed this. I always seem to enjoy watching This Morning whenever it catches my glance. What was the models name? I'd quite like to do some research.

Hello

Hi, I'm Henri. I'm a regular poster on the Dyspraxic Teens website (I'm nineteen next week), but as a young adult, I feel I can contribute here as well.

Looking forward to reading and posting here \:D/
