Re: Hi , I am Anna. It is my first time here.
I am finally coming to terms with my dyspraxia. I have always come against a brick wall when trying to go for promotions. A couple of weeks ago I emailed our union and told them. I had been refused the chance to do an NVQ in laboratory clinical support. It now looks as if with the unions help I wil...

Re: Eating
for me it depends...
if it is something that is already mixed together like a soup or pie etc i wont mind but if its already separate such as if i had waffles, peas and mash (not mixed together) then i will not mix it like my dad does... he takes a bit from everything on his fork at the same time

Re: Dream/ Ideal job for a Dyspraxic
I am going into computer networking and will hopefully be able to get a job as a network designer or network consultant so that I can play a major part in designing computer networks :P I think this is a good job for dyspraxia because if you can meet the deadlines and be a bit organized you get a jo...

Re: Hypermobility Syndrome
I am very flexible in the sense that no one my own age at least (i'm very small and not very strong for my age) can put me in any kind of hold even someone who works in a psychiatric home and is trained to do that kind of thing (to restrain people) could only do 1 type of lock me and would of be unl...

Re: high pain thresholds
A lot of people look at me and think I am weak because of my small size but I can handle quite a lot of pain sometimes the best examples of this are probably the following no one can give me a chinese burn to the extent that it gets too much I can handle long nails digging hard into my skin I can ta...

Re: Does anyone else here have uncontrolled twitching?

Re: My coping strategies - what are yours?
