I wasn't on ADHD medications or diagnosed when I was coding. That was natural 100% Starduster.

Re: Dyspraxia vs. Aspergers
Hi Tom Fod, I just need peace of mind. It's not doors that I need opened. Just that there's something else going on. I've been researching this a bit more and finding lots of aha moments. If I'm diagnosed, it will help explain a lot since childhood. It's not about other people, it's about me. And I s...

Re: Dyspraxia vs. Aspergers
I'm now very confused. I've been diagnosed with dyspraxia and ADHD and I've always thought I wasn't Asperger because of the empathy issue and thought that Aspergers don't have empathy. I've now discovered this is not true, and that it can affect women differently and that there are different types i...

Re: Duvet covers
I also do the inside out duvet cover but I shake it down over the banister, so I can get enough height and let gravity help :-) That's how I fold my bedsheets as well, hang them over the banister.

Dyspraxia in adults!!
I get so frustrated that most information about dyspraxia is about children. :( You get diagnosed then what? I was told at an assessment that my hand grip is a bit strained. Yeah , fine so what's the best way to grip then? My arms get so sore after drawing or writing. I'm doing a search on hand grip...

Dyspraxia and craft
What tools do you find effective? My wrist gets tired and hurts easily using my cutter. I was cutting on cardboard to protect my table, then borrowed my housemate's cutting mat which is easier. obviously but I'm not used to doing crafts. I think i also need to get a new cutter. I make lots of...

Re: Driving instructor wanting help.
I passed my driving test and changed instructor while taking classes. My new instructor was very patient and calming, he was saying stuff like don't worry, it's okay, let them wait, and was very specific with his instructions, and gave me plenty of warning time before any maneuver and even talked so...

I had a breakthrough!
I hope it lasts. I'm new on here. I'm studying Architecture and Planning and have failed the Design Studio twice! Everyone's been saying or not verbalizing their opinions that I should go and do something else, but I've been stubborn and I'm still on the course. My difficulty is with drawing. I did...

Re: Things that you CAN do despite being dyspraxic
I get along well with kids and animals and I'm patient with people who are genuinely having difficulties. I can dance very well. (Not choreographed dance) I'm a good martial artist. Oddly, I've very good reflexes which is handy. I do knock things over but I can catch them quickly. Something m...

Re: Tips or suggestions
I really really recommend doing martial arts. I've done karate since I was 12, I had no choice, my father decided to set up a class to stay in shape (he's a black belt) and forced me and my sister to participate as 2 instant unwilling pupils. Well, I was. I'm very glad he did. I ran into the dysprax...

Re: Studying Architecture
Thanks for your answer. I'm glad there's someone out there with dyspraxia and architecture!!! I was beginning to lose hope. Have you had any luck finding architects with dyspraxia? I'm having difficulty finding architects with ADHD even, as I have that as well. Lots of stuff about dyslexia and archi...

Studying Architecture
Hello all, I'm currently studying Architecture (and Planning, it's a dual course). I have ADHD and Dyspraxia. My ADHD has always bothered me, I didn't really know I had dyspraxia. I knew there was something, but I didn't have it diagnosed and in the US, there was something called Non Verbal Learning...
