Hi Thanks for replying. The NHS GP really did screw up! He was asking me what month it was and I was like WTF!! I don't have dementia you fool!! Unfortunately I've now left University (& was diagnosed dyslexic/probably dyspraxic halfway through my final MA year) so I can't have their assessment....

I went to see my GP about getting assessed for dyslexia/dyspraxia and they did the dementia assessment on me! Is this normal? I asked for a referral to an educational psychologist but that was over 6 months ago and I don't think they knew where to refer me. I went to my academic support team at Uni ...

I straighten my hair twice a day, the unfortunate side effect of this is that my ears are COVERED in burns from them!!

I've read about "chemical straightening" though and even though it costs quite a lot it might be a worthwhile investment for both me and you !!

When you get home from 2 weeks away, walk into the bedroom and immediately bash your knee on the end of the bed! I told the OH what I'd done and he said "so you know you're home now then?"

I'm always bashing myself on the end of the bed !!

Hi

I'm 26 & recently diagnosed with profound dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. The dyspraxia is unofficially diagnosed by the academic support team at my Uni, but it's pretty obvious when you take a look at my knees and all the chipped crockery in the cupboard !!
