Learning to drive
Hi I've been trying to learn to drive on and off for about 8 years now. It is a constant source of frustration and I've never taken a driving test because I've usually quit whichever instructor I'm with because I don't feel I'm progressing. I switched from manual to automatic about a year ago and fo...

Re: Assessment
Hi Thanks for replying. The NHS GP really did screw up! He was asking me what month it was and I was like WTF!! I don't have dementia you fool!! Unfortunately I've now left University (& was diagnosed dyslexic/probably dyspraxic halfway through my final MA year) so I can't have their assessment....

Assessment
I went to see my GP about getting assessed for dyslexia/dyspraxia and they did the dementia assessment on me! Is this normal? Re: Hair care
I straighten my hair twice a day, the unfortunate side effect of this is that my ears are COVERED in burns from them!!
I've read about "chemical straightening" though and even though it costs quite a lot it might be a worthwhile investment for both me and you !!

Re: You know you're dyspraxic when
When you get home from 2 weeks away, walk into the bedroom and immediately bash your knee on the end of the bed! I told the OH what I'd done and he said "so you know you're home now then?"
I'm always bashing myself on the end of the bed !!

Hello
Hi
I'm 26 & recently diagnosed with profound dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. The dyspraxia is unofficially diagnosed by the academic support team at my Uni, but it's pretty obvious when you take a look at my knees and all the chipped crockery in the cupboard !!
