Re: Afraid that my dyspraxia will destroy my dream
Thank you for your advices, both of you :) I have to look at that xtraordniary people-site! Perhaps it can pep me during hard days. I've got two weeks of training now and the first thing we had to do was to learn how the camera works and to bring light. It's really hard for me to understand the came...

Help: no one knows about dyspraxia
Last week I started my assessment to find out if I have dyspraxia. The psychologist was really nice and she realized that my difficulties are causing huge problems for me in my daily life, especially when it comes to work and studies. She said she would try to help me to get the right help, but ther...

Re: dyspraxia and the call centre
I recognize myself. I worked at a call center two weeks last summer. The job was about selling magazines to companies and I worked six hours, five days a week. I had two weeks of trial and in the beginnig the boss was satisfied because he thought I sounded good on the phone. But, after a week it was...

Skewifty
I read about the symptoms of "skewifty" and I feel that it really is me, but what is skewifty more accurate? How do you explain it with another word? I have looked up the word in a dictionary but there is no Swedish equivalent. Therefore, I would find another English word to make it easier...

Afraid that my dyspraxia will destroy my dream
I have started a new training today, a one-year television journalism training that I looked forward to a long time. The school seems great, the teachers I've ever met are nice and we are a small class of six people and everyone seems nice. Yet it feels as if everyone can see that there is something...

Abnormal walk style as a child
Is there anyone else out there who had an abnormal walk style as a child? I had big problems to coordinate my movements. When I went I automatically leaned my back forward and my arms were drawn back. Sometimes people looked at me so my parents used to tell me to right up my back and to hold my arms...

I often have to take a look in the dictionary but it´s nice that you find my English well O:) mickyoschea: I agree, it is amazing to meet other people who have exactly the same problems. Re: Hair care
I have the same problem. I can´t use a straightener, I always burn my ears or my fingers. I wish I could make some nice hairstyles but I can only make a hairstyle with fringe or a "ball" at the top of my head. The last thing is difficult, but I usually make it if I do it slowly and if I ha...
