rejected based on A levels I took before I was diagnosed :(
I posted this in the studying section and then realised it should probably go here... #-o Hi everyone, I completed my A levels in 2006 amidst (as with my AS's) parents and teachers all completely baffled and asking how I didn't do better. At the time all I could say was I just always ran out of time ...

Can I get retrospective allowance for A levels?
Hi everyone, I completed my A levels in 2006 amidst (as with my AS's) parents and teachers all completely baffled and asking how I didn't do better. At the time all I could say was I just always ran out of time. Of course when I got diagnosed with dyspraxia in January this year, complete with 34th ...

Re: Too strong or too weak
I am ALWAYS doing everything too soft or too strong. When I was a kid I used to go on those dance machines in arcades and everyone was always convinced I was gonna break them cos I had to stamp so hard to keep in time with it. Same thing happens now with the Wii fit board. I don't smoke but I'm ...

Re: tips for learning to drive
I don't know if this would work for everyone (and it does involve saving up for ages) but I did a lot of lessons over about 6 weeks in the summer holidays...at times I was doing 4 hours a day (in 2 x 2hr sessions - I would definitely not advise a 4 hr lesson - tbh I often got tired/driving ...

Re: Relationships
isthatso?, I definitely wouldn't blame the guy you're talking about for the lateness and forgetting to call you; if he's dyspraxic then he's not trying to mess you around he just really struggles with organising things and things slip his mind easily. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've ...

Re: Tying laces
Tying has always been one of my biggest problems and I still to this day cannot tying anything whether it be shoe laces, aprons, black bags etc, I just can't do them. Trust me, I have practiced for hours but no use, the motion is just not there. But do I let it stop me? No, I just grab a pair of ...

Hi everyone!
Hi, I'm Ness, I'm 21 and am training to be a primary school teacher atm. Was officially diagnosed a couple months ago, though I had been pretty certain myself since I found out it existed about 3 years ago. I'm loving reading posts on the forum - it's really nice to know that I'm not the only one ...
